Our Story
Forest & Arden was founded by Michelle J. Kraus, a leading cabinetry, interior, and lighting designer shaping luxury homes across Park City, Heber, and Salt Lake City. Known for her creative vision and architectural clarity, Michelle brings more than two decades of experience to every project. Her work reflects Austrian‑inspired precision, Italian‑influenced elegance, and a deep understanding of how cabinetry and lighting define the character of a home.

With more than two decades of experience designing luxury cabinetry in homes throughout Park City, Heber, and Salt Lake City, she brings a level of creativity, technical fluency, and material expertise that clients, builders, and architects consistently rely on. Michelle Kraus is the founder and principal designer of Forest & Arden Cabinetry, guiding the studio with a commitment to craftsmanship, clarity, and timeless design. Her work is shaped by her heritage of Austrian‑inspired luxury and the understated sophistication of Italian design, bringing a sense of precision and quiet elegance to every project. With expertise in luxury cabinetry, integrated lighting, and architectural detailing, she creates spaces grounded in material integrity, thoughtful functionality, and refined simplicity.
Outside the studio, Michelle is a proud mother of two sons—one serving in the military and one in banking—both happily married. She finds balance through travel and time on the golf course, where she draws inspiration from landscape, architecture, and the quiet clarity of open space.
